Hi, Glad to see that P&V are still going strong.
I was the Scout Leader there back in the 70's.

Hi, I am a 52 year old guy living in Toronto, Canada, who used to live in Basildon and was a member of the 4th Basildon cubs(sixer)/scouts(patrol leader) until my parents emigrated to Canada in 1967. I have searched the Essex scouts websites and it appears that the 4th Basildon(St. Basil's) is no longer in existence. Oh well! I would like to converse with anyone in the Essex scout groups who may have some info on what happened to my old 4th group; plus, just to chat about what is going on these days in your neck of the woods now and about the 1960's days. Any contact would be greatly appreciated as I have such a soft spot for my scouting days in Essex. I still have my cub and scout shirts with badges.

Regards, Stephen Young, who lived at 26 Linford Drive in Basildon.
